Watertown Takes on Tyner

  Watertown traveled to Chattanooga to face Region 3-2A Champion Tyner Academy on November 10.  The Purple Tigers fought hard but in the end it was Tyner Academy winning 33-22.  Congratulations to the Purple Tigers on their great season!  

Tigers Push Past the First Round

The Tigers eliminate Polk County in the first round of the TSSAA playoffs. Next week, they travel to Chattanooga to take on Tyner.

Play Off Preview

The Purple Tigers take on Polk County this Friday night in the first round of the TSSAA Playoffs. Coach Webster says, “The three keys to victory are: improve tackles, improve blocks, and play with more energy. If we can do these three things Friday night, it will definitely enhance our chances of winning!”  

Tigers Take Down East Robertson

Watertown had a great Region win Friday night over East Robertson, with a score of 14-12. They close their regular season with a 4-1 Region record, and an  8-2 overall record. 

Webster and Hill Named Players of the Week

The Watertown Purple Tiger Football Players & Athletes of The Week were Bryce Webster and Zach Hill. Bryce Webster is the quarterback.     The Purple Tigers bounce back to take the victory over the Westmoreland Eagles after being down 14-0, with a final score of 17-14. Defeating the Eagles, the Tigers now have a record of 2-1 in the region, and 5-2 overall.
