District 8AA Varsity Boys and Girls Tournament Online Ticket Sales and Live Stream

Watertown High School will be hosting the District 8AA Varsity Boys and Girls Tournament starting Monday, February 17.  The tournament will have 2 games per day until Thursday, February 20 with games at 6pm and 730 each day.  After Thursday, the remaining teams will move to Tennessee Tech University to complete the tournament.  Tickets are

Four Purple Tiger Football Sign Scholarships

Four Purple Tiger Football players will be signing National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, February 5, at 1045.  All four will be signing to attend, play football and further their education at Cumberland University.  Congratulations to these young men for their accomplishment! NEW Back Drop

The athletic department recently got a new back drop for student athletes to use during their signing days.  A huge thanks to Mr. Hill for working to get it done. We can’t wait to see how many Purple Tiger student athletes sign letters of intent in front of it.

Boys Purple Tigers Basketball Season Recap

The Watertown Purple Tigers have had a strong season so far. They are halfway through the season and are currently tied for second with a 14-4 record. Lady Purple Tiger Athlete of the Week

Daejah Maklary was chosen “Lady Purple Tiger Athletes of the Week” last week against Upperman scoring 7 points and caught 2 charges on defense.

Boys Purple Tiger Athletes of the Week

Rayquan Verge and Brayden Cousino were chosen “Boys Purple Tiger Athletes of the Week” last week against Gordonsville. Rayquan Verge scored 23 points and Brayden Cousino scored 16.

Lady Purple Tiger Athletes of the Week

Brittni Allison and Emma Christensen was chosen “Lady Purple Tiger Athletes of the Week” last week. Brittni Allison broke the record scoring eight 3 pointers in the game against Trousdale County coming out with 34 points.  Emma Christensen scored 20 points but was 8/8 from 2 point range in the game against Hendersonville.
