Aletha Thomas has been in education since 2000, and has been coaching for 3 years. She has been at WHS for 4 years. She taught at Saba Comprehensive School in the Caribbean, and Owensville Middle School in Missouri. Coach Thomas attended Smith County High School, and attended Tennessee Tech to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology/Family & Consumer Sciences Ed. She is married to Michael Thomas and has three children named Jackson (15), Nancy Caroline (13), and Sadie (10). Her favorite part about working and coaching at WHS is getting to know and being involved with a hardworking and kind staff, faculty, and student body.
