Boys Varsity Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · Watertown Cross Country Wins School’s Third Region Championship of 2020

The Watertown High School Cross Country program has had a successful season thus far. On Thursday, October 29 the cross country team ran at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville in the Region Championship Meet. The boy’s team came in roaring with winning the Region 4 title for the first time in school history! Braden Leffew led the team placing first in the race and was named region champion. Greer Davis placed third, followed by Matthew Mckinley at fourth. Joe Braydon Roberts was also a top ten medalist placing sixth. The seven runner boys team will run in the State Championship race returning to Sanders Ferry Park on Thursday, November 5.
