Girls Varsity Volleyball · Purple Tigers Earn Fourth Consecutive State Tournament Appearance


Watertown volleyball will be making their forth tournament appearance after dominating Community High School in Thursday’s Class A Sectional.  The lady tigers won the contest in three straight sets led by senior Brooklyn Davis who boasted an impressive stat line of 8 kills, 22 assists, 5 aces, 6 digs, and 2 assisted blocks. The lady tigers will enter the state tournament with an impressive record of 33 -6 and a district record 12-0. The lady tigers have been picking up steam going into the post-season, and they look to keep this going in the state tournament.

Abby Parkerson and Morgan brown led all hitters with 9 kills. Gala Holbrooks had 5 kills and Natalie Fountain recorded 4 kills.

Allie Tunks protected the backline with 11 digs.

Chloe Posten registered 10 assists.
