The Watertown Purple Tigers have had a strong season so far. They are halfway through the season and are currently tied for second with a 14-4 record. They had a rough start losing to Westmoreland to start the season but have picked up the pace since. In the Watertown Christmas Tournament, the Tigers came up short placing 3rd and at the Friendship Christian Christmas Tournament, they won a championship. RayQuan Verge and Q Hughes-Malone have both had a good season so far and Elijah Williams, Brayden Cousino, and Gavin Clayborne have also improved as the season has progressed. The Tigers plan to continue their winning streak when they play York on Tuesday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. at home.
