Girls Varsity Volleyball · Volleyball Falls to Wilson Central

In a night where the Watertown High School Lady Tigers Volleyball team honored military, first responders, and elected officials, the Lady Purple Tigers suffered their first home defeat of the season to Wilson Central.  The match was played with high energy and was a well played match, inside a loud and spirit-filled Watertown High School Gymnasium.  The Lady Purple Tigers lost in four sets:  17-25, 25-20, 17-25, and 15-25.  All four games were highly contested, and on this night the Lady Wildcats got the best of the Lady Tigers. But Coach Holcomb and her team go right back to work on Tuesday evening, in a district match at Red Boiling Springs High School.  The loss moves the ladies to 8-3 on the season.  Best of luck to the Lady Purple Tiger Volleyball team as they look to stay undefeated in the district!  Stats from the match with Wilson Central:
