LIVINGSTON — Livingston Academy clamped down on Watertown’s offense in the second half and rallied to a 75-71 win Friday night.
Following a 16-16 first-quarter tie, Watertown outscored Livingston 28-18 in the second to go up 44-34 by halftime. But the Wildcats held the Purple Tigers to 12 points in the third period as they climbed to within 56-51 before outscoring them 24-15 in the fourth.
Heath Price produced 25 points and six rebounds for the Purple Tigers while Griffin Creswell connected on a pair of three-pointers for half of his 12 and Quanterrius Hughes-Malone 10. Jared Tomson added eight while Brandon Allison and RayQuan Verge each scored six on a pair of trees apiece. Aidan Usher secured six rebounds as he and Nathan Fish tossed in two points apiece.
