Sophomore outside hitter Natalie Fountain, sophomore setter Brookelyn Davis and junior Libero Sydney Murrell all made the Class A all-state team from Watertown High. The trio helped lead the Lady Tigers to a record of 30-4 and a third place finish in the TSSAA Class A state tournament.
Fountain was the Region 4-A MVP, recording 354 kills for the season, giving her an average of 10.4 kills a match. She also had a total of 898 attacking attempts with 76 errors on the season for a season hitting percentage of .309 and a kill percentage of .394.
Davis had 1,098 setting chances for the season with only 19 setting errors for a positive setting percentage of 98.2% She dished out 484 assists, recorded 89 service aces and charted 251 digs.
Murrell had 627 digs out of 667 chances (only 40 digging errors through 34 matches) for a dig percentage of 94% on the season. She had 460 serve receive chances with only 38 errors giving her a serve receive percentage of 92%. She earned 111 serving aces for the season.
All three Watertown players earned All-District 7-A and All-Region 4-A honors.
